Lady

Biography

Lady is a very sweet, pretty, high energy and playful seven-month-old puppy who came to us from a shelter. Lady is in need of training and socialization due to the lack of it she received during her growth with her previous owner.

Lady’s foster home is working on her social skills and obedience training to help her gain confidence with meeting new people and being in new environments. She has become more comfortable and relaxed in the foster home, and will do great in an adoptive home while continuing with her socialization and training.

She loves to play with her ball and get love from the people she knows. She is shy when she first meets new people and needs some time to get to know them. Once she warms up to you, she is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet!

Lady’s foster family keeps her busy with a lot of mental stimulation and physical activities due to her high energy level, which is typical of a puppy. She gets a lot of play time, car rides, and walks. She even runs errands with her foster mom going into banks and stores instead of waiting outside in the car.

Lady attends doggy daycare two to three times a week and is learning how to be social with all dogs. She is not the most gentle when meeting new dogs, but if they want to play with her, she will be the first one to jump in and welcome them. She is best with larger breed dogs as opposed to small ones. She can be rough in her play with other dogs and is still learning what is and what is not acceptable.
