Last fall, we were contacted by a family needing help placing their young German Shepherd Sadie.  They had 2 toddlers, and a small dog that found Sadie’s exuberance overwhelming. They were finding it difficult to keep up with her energy.  They really loved her and were heartbroken at the thought of giving her up, so they started working with a trainer to try to make things work.  They contacted us again this Spring and with a 3rd baby on the way with their 2 toddlers, they knew it would be in Sadie’s best interest to find another family who could devote more time to a young dog like her.  

As luck would have it, we had a new applicant looking for a dog exactly like Sadie.  With prior German Shepherd experience, we were thrilled they were willing to bring Sadie in as a foster.  From the first day she arrived, she settled right in and wooed them with her friendly, affectionate personality.  They absolutely love her and are so thankful to have her. They told us they felt like they had hit the lottery.  Sadie will be starting group obedience classes soon with her new Mom.
