In late November we were contacted by an ACO about a young female she had in her shelter. A beautiful 11 month old Black & Silver named Raven.  She was good with children, the other dogs there, and the 2 cats they had loose in the shelter. The ACO told us if GSRNE was able to take Raven, they would be willing to spay and get her up to date on all her me h needed vetting. 

When we met her we could see that Raven was a sweet, happy dog.  At first with people she can be a little scared but, she warms up quickly and is friendly.  We had just approved a family to adopt who had recently lost their dog and asked them if they would like to welcome Raven into their home.  She has adjusted nicely in her home with her new family and enjoys her daily walks with them in the wooded trails. She has made friends with some of the neighbors dogs and plays nicely.  Raven will be starting training classes soon that will help her with confidence.
