When a dog comes into GSRNE, that dog remains GSRNE family for life, especially if they need our help again. Unfortunately, 8 year old Mia, GSRNE #669, is returning to our rescue after her owner recently passed away.
Mia originally came into our rescue about 2 years ago when she was 6 years old. We learned she loves to play and spend time with her family. She ignores cats and is friendly with other dogs. She has a nice energy level, enjoys being outside, and enjoys all the attention you give her. We sent out a plea to our group to help find Mia a new home. We were so excited when new adoption applicants were interested in fostering her.
We are so grateful for the amazing care Mia’s new family is giving her. Mia feels the same way. She is lavishing in that tender-loving care and already feels at home. Her family has told us they could not imagine life without her; Mia has found her new home with them. We couldn’t be happier for them all, congratulations.
Mia is a sweet and happy 6 year old girl. She loves to play and spend time with her family. She’s friendly with other dogs and tends to ignore cats. She’s done well at doggie daycare too.Mia’s original owner had to spend long hours away from home due to work and Mia wasn’t getting the attention or activity he felt she needed. Although he loved her, he knew she needed someone who could spend more time with her and give her more activity.
Once in her foster and now adoptive home, Mia settled in immediately. Mia is already so in tune with her family that she was even able to alert her mom when a family member needed some assistance. Mia loves her new big yard and freedom to run, especially playing with her ball. She’s well behaved in the home and gets along well with the resident cat. After her energy is expended, she will cuddle with her mom. Her family is already in love with their new girl and we couldn’t be happy for everyone. Congratulations to all.
