Harley is a nice and easy going girl.  She will greet you with tail wagging enthusiasm. 

Harley’s primary owner passed away and his girlfriend was caring for her, but lost her home and could no longer keep her.  When our evaluator met Harley, he found a very sweet dog who was a bit on the chubby side and needed more exercise.  We were lucky to have an available foster home with a foster mom that loved to take walks everyday.  With portion control and the walks, Harley is starting to lose weight and looking much more fit.  

Her foster mom says she’s enjoyed having her and she’s transitioned to her home very well.  She is working with Harley on basic training and socializing her with the neighbors.  Harley has enjoyed all the attention.  She will initially bark at other dogs, but does settle.  With slow introductions that allow her time to acclimate, we think she would do fine with another male dog in the home.  She would also be just as happy as an only dog and the center of her new family’s affection!
