The first thing people usually mention about Finn is that he’s a LOT of dog.  He is a large male German Shepherd, and the second comment we get about is what a handsome and impressive boy he is, with his solid black coloring and confident demeanor. When his owners contacted us, they explained that they were moving out of state and felt that Finn needed more exercise and training than they were able to give him.  He was just over 5 years old, loved to go for walks, play fetch and learn new things, and they felt it was best if he could be with someone who would have more time for him. While in foster care, Finn enjoyed going to the beach, meeting new people, stretching out on the sand and riding in the car.  He loves going for walks and doesn’t get upset when seeing other dogs.  When his foster Dad could not continue to take care of Finn, we moved him to a boarding/daycare  kennel where he could interact with other dogs every day.  We’ve been very pleased with the way he has responded to the activities and training and would love to introduce him to an experienced German Shepherd person who will give him his forever home.   Please contact us if you can be that special person for Finn.
