Beau is the perfect example of a German Shepherd dog. He has
learned so much about living with his foster family and adores
is foster sister. Beau is approximately 18 months old and has a
lot of puppy in him, particularly when he plays with his toys.
Beau is very affectionate and shares his affection with all the
members of his foster family. He is comfortable staying in his
crate when he is home alone and very excited to see his people
when they come home.
Beau has done very well greeting visitors to his foster home
will bark once or twice to say hello and then will seek a visitors
attention with that “let’s go play “ gaze.
Beau has learned that when his prong collar goes on it is time
for some fun and he respects the collar and does not pull like
he did on his regular collar or harness. He goes jogging with
his humans and maintains a nice “heel” position as the trots
along beside you. He is well behaved when he passes other
dogs but he will bark at dogs that pass by his yard, he tells his
Dad that is just to let them know he is there to protect his
humans.
Beau’s one desire in life is to please his humans and he is a
happy, loving dog who is ready to become a permanent
member of his forever family in his forever home. He does get
along well with his other Canine, but would probably be happy
being an only dog as long as his forever family showers him
with walks and play and affection and lots of cuddles.
