Meet Ruby…
Ruby is a 3-year-old long-coated German Shepherd with the sweetest personality and the cutest face. She loves playing with her Jolly Ball, being close to her people, and soaking up affection. She previously lived with another dog and has done well with the dogs in her daycare group.
Ruby came from a very sad situation. The man who owned her was abusive, but thankfully he is now in a place where he can no longer hurt her or any other animals. He also repeatedly shaved her coat, so although Ruby is actually a beautiful long-coated German Shepherd, you’d never know it right now. Once her fur grows back in, her true beauty is really going to shine.
What makes Ruby so special is that despite everything she’s been through, she remains incredibly loving, affectionate, and sweet. She wants nothing more than to be close to her people and finally feel safe and loved.
Her obedience could use a little polishing, but honestly, she’s a really good dog with so much potential. Ruby is ready for a fresh start with a family who will cherish her and give her the happy ending she deserves.
