Shadow is a stunning long-haired 4-year-old female who is very sweet. She was lovingly adopted by an older gentleman as a companion after the loss of his wife, and she has been cherished and sweetly spoiled in her home. Due to her owner’s age and health, Shadow is now looking for a new forever family who can give her the love, exercise, and attention she deserves.
Shadow can be a little timid when first meeting new people and may hide under the table, but she quickly warms up and shows her affectionate side, often with kisses for anyone who gives her a chance. She’s playful, loves car rides and toys, and is brushing up on her basic training, showing her eagerness to learn and please.
Shadow has done well with other dogs, though she hasn’t had significant exposure to children. She has started on a fitness regimen to shed a few pounds, a reflection of her previous life of being well-loved and cared for.
This sweet, loyal, and playful girl is ready to find a family who will appreciate her gentle nature, her playful spirit, and her endless capacity for affection.
