More about Ranger to come!

Ranger is estimated to be a 2-3 year old male.  He is a friendly, polite guy who enjoys spending time with his people.  He was picked up at a stray by the local ACO, however, it was felt his affability and being a little overweight made it more likely that he once had a home.  The ACO made extensive efforts to find an owner but no one came forward.  The ACO team enjoyed him so much they nicknamed him Handsome and called us to see if we could help find him a forever family.  

A trainer friend of the rescue was able to complete an evaluation for us and ultimately provided short term foster accommodations so that we could get the sweet boy out of the shelter.  Since we didn’t have a formal name for him, we asked the trainer to choose one.  He settled on Ranger which we think fits this him nicely.  The trainer has been working on helping Ranger loose some excess weight with daily activity.  We have learned that Ranger is good with other dogs and ignored the cats he was exposed to.  He has been wonderful around everyone he’s meet and easy going.  We are so happy to welcome this boy to the rescue and that he will never be homeless again.
