I jusScreenshotScreenshott wanted to take a minute and give you an update at the 1 Year anniversary of our adoption of Kaja.
We can’t believe it’s been a full year already, to be honest. Through a lot of trial and tribulation(s) Kaja has become the focal point of our home. We still have work to do, but always look forward to our waggy tail time. She’s slowly inching towards off-lead competence, but that milestone is yet to come. She loves her long walks in the woods and lots of summer swim time at the lake. She has faithfully protected our home frome numerous squirrel and rabbit incursions, and has made a dubious friendship with the turkeys that frequent our yard.
She has filled out into her adult frame nicely and is the envy of all who she befriends. Her DNA came back at full 100% GSD which we were honestly surprised by….she looked like a fox when we got her!
Thank you to all your volunteers and those who made our adoption a reality. I’m attaching some pictures to share with you.
