Tenley is a wonderfully sweet five year old girl who came from a loving home where she was well cared for.Tenley sustained an injury to her tail. As a result, her tail needed to be amputated. Post amputation Tenley recovered in a foster home for thirty days and is now available for adoption. Tenley’s foster reported that she is both crate trained and housetrained. Tenley is friendly with visitors and loves to play fetch! She is not a chewer and will whine to let you know when she needs to go out to the bathroom. Tenley’s foster mom had a nice fenced yard where she enjoyed many games of fetch. However, when left unsupervised Tenley will dog holes under the fence.
We can’t say enough good things about this sweet girl. You just have to meet Tenley! She is active, intelligent and affectionate. She also knows how to relax. During warmer months Tenley enjoys romping in a fenced yard. If you have a kiddie pool – even better! On colder days, back in the shelter, she keeps staff company by napping at their feet while the computer work is being done.
Tenley is hoping to find a home with an active couple who enjoy long walks. Tenley is not comfortable around other dogs or cats and will need to be the only animal in the home.
So, if you have been looking for a best friend, companion or jogging buddy, Tenley may be the girl for you. Visit our website www.worcesterarl.org click Tenley’s photo and fill out an inquiry form to request appointment to meet this wonderful girl!
