Kona is a six-year-old GSD who loves to be loved.  He enjoys spending time with “his” people whether it’s taking a walk along a quiet road or accompanying you to the local farmers market.
Kona came into GSRNE when his owner had to move out of the country unexpectedly.  When our evaluator met him, she knew he was just the kind of dog GSRNE was looking for and we were able to place him in a new foster home with a foster mom who is also a dog trainer.
We’ve learned a lot about Kona in a very short time.  He is very calm in the house and will happily cuddle up with you while you watch TV.  He loves to have his ears rubbed.  Kona is great on a leash.  Kona learns quickly and has a good grasp of basic obedience skills.  His crate is also one of his favorite spots to hang out.
Kona prefers people over dogs and cats so he will need to be the only pet in his forever home.  What an ideal dog for anyone looking for true affection and a gentle demeanor!   Apply today!
