Meet Chance!
He is located at Pope Memorial Frontier Animal Shelter in Orleans, Vermont.
He is a fully vetted, 8-month-old shepherd. Chance came to us when his previous owner was no longer able to care for him. Chance has done very well with other dogs, and loves to play with them. We have seen Chance interact with cats, and from what we have observed, we think a cat-free home would be the best fit for him. Chance is an active shepherd pup, and he would greatly benefit from consistency and training. He is food motivated and eager to learn. He did not receive much training prior to being in our care. We think he would be a great companion for someone who enjoys going out for runs and hikes! Chance hasn’t had the opportunity to socialize a great deal with children, but due to his size and age, he would likely do best in a home with teens.
