Dear Elvis,

You have left us, and we still can’t look at your photos without becoming teary-eyed. We love you with all our hearts. You have no idea how much we miss you, beautiful boy.

We lost our beautiful Elvis suddenly to bloat (GDV). He was rushed to the hospital at the first sign, but they just couldn’t save him. It’s hard enough when we see our dogs slowing down and getting old, but losing one still young and active like Elvis is almost unbearable. Our dogs become such a huge part of our lives.

Elvis was a pretty amazing boy and a huge presence in his home. He had such a BIG personality and was always looking forward to that next adventure. His family told us he was the smartest dog they have ever had. His enthusiasm for everything in life always brought a smile to their faces. Their house is too quiet now, his bed is empty, and they miss him terribly. Elvis also left behind his sister, Ava; they were both rescue dogs and they were the best of friends. Inseparable and always together.

We extend our deepest sympathy to Loueen and Larry. We are so grateful to you both for giving Elvis a wonderful forever home. He was a beautiful dog and clearly a much-loved member of your family.

Rest in peace Elvis, GSRNE #464.
